Responsibilities include:

Perform 30- and 60-minute therapeutic massage sessions based on established treatment plans. Prepare patients and treatment spaces while maintaining comfort, privacy, and professionalism. Assist patients with positioning for traction and decompression treatments. Perform X-rays as directed. Help coordinate follow-up visits and communicate scheduling needs with the front-office team. Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and common clinical areas. Monitor and replenish supplies and assist with linen management. Clean, inspect, and maintain massage and therapy equipment. Follow all applicable sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures. Provide additional clinic support as needed.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or GED. Completion of an approved massage therapy program or applicable apprenticeship. Current, active Michigan Massage Therapy License. Experience with multiple massage techniques, such as deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, hot stone, Thai, or sports massage. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Good organization and attention to detail. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including prolonged standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and pushing equipment weighing up to 300 pounds.

Preferred:

At least one year of experience in a healthcare, chiropractic, rehabilitation, or other clinical setting. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or comparable computer programs. Chiropractic Assistant Responsibilities $15.00/hour for time spent performing Chiropractic Assistant duties. Massage Therapy Services 50% of gross receipts for eligible cash-pay and commercial insurance massage appointments. $75 per massage for eligible workers' compensation and auto insurance appointments. Based on massage volume and productivity, the combined compensation structure offers an estimated $30-$55/hour earning potential .
