Licensed Massage Therapist
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Licensed Massage Therapist at Verdure provides therapeutic massage to a client base that expects precision. This is a massage position with depth. The work is built around the practitioner's expertise, point of view, and the specific value they bring to each client. We are looking for someone who has a developing or established area of focus, takes the craft seriously, and understands that continued education and modality development are part of what it means to practice at this level.

None Commitment:
Part-time, independent contractor. Some Saturdays and one to two evening shifts per week are expected.
Compensation:
50% commission on massage services under an all-inclusive pricing model. Practice facilitation, membership participation, and team meetings are paid separately depending on the work; some hourly, some bonus-based. Structure reviewed in detail during the interview process.
MASSAGE SERVICES
Deliver therapeutic massage grounded in your specific area of expertise and point of view Meet each client with precision, listening first and building a treatment approach that reflects both their needs and your trained lens Maintain accurate, timely session documentation in Jane, our booking and charting platform Prepare treatment rooms before each session. Ambiance, supplies, and sanitation standards are non-negotiable Conduct post-treatment follow-up with clients to support rebooking and ongoing care Build lasting client relationships that drive retention and referrals Collaborate with the owner and other practitioners across the team as a matter of Verdure culture
THE PRACTICE
The Practice is our guided group offering: recovery, breath, and restorative movement, led by practitioners. Your presence as a practitioner contributes to that room in ways a non-practitioner cannot hold. You begin as a participant and assist. We train you on our formats and our breathwork method. You lead when you are ready Once leading, a minimum of two Practice sessions per week is expected as part of your contractor scope and compensated separately We are currently developing several group offerings that are restorative in nature. As the role develops, there is opportunity to co-develop new Practice formats with the team Workshops, retreats, and more immersive events are part of where Verdure is headed. Participation in these will be added as they develop and is not an immediate expectation These opportunities develop as we grow together, and we grow together intentionally.
THE SOCIETY
The Society is Verdure's paid membership community. Our practitioners are part of it, not adjacent to it. Active participation in The Society is mandatory as part of this role and is compensated separately Show up inside the community as the practitioner and specialist you are. Contribute to the culture, the conversation, and the work Contribute to member-facing content and programming as directed Your presence in the membership is part of how we build trust, retain clients, and grow the community around the work
MEETINGS & COMMUNICATION
Attendance at the monthly all-team meeting, the monthly department meeting when applicable, and periodic one-on-ones scheduled by the owner is mandatory. Meeting time is compensated hourly Come prepared. We work collaboratively and everyone contributes to support the goals Participate in the team space and team chats, respond to team directives in a timely manner, and contribute to the team culture. This is expected, not optional Keep your availability in Jane current and give a minimum of two weeks' notice for schedule changes outside of illness or emergency Coordinate with our Client Engagement Coordinator on content, marketing and sales, client follow-up, nurture sequences, and the full experience our clients have come to expect from Verdure Maintain confidentiality of client information, studio operations, and internal communications. HIPAA compliance is required where applicable

REQUIREMENTS
Current Missouri massage therapy license in good standing Professional liability insurance in place before your first client session, with Verdure named as additional insured A developing or established area of focus and the ability to speak to it clearly Comfort in a group setting, or a demonstrated interest in getting there. Yoga, breathwork, movement, or group facilitation experience is a plus

We take The Council seriously and we will position you as such: professional headshots, a Verdure email address, and inclusion in email campaigns, referrals, and cross-promotion across our platforms A Client Engagement Coordinator whose job includes following up, nurturing, and rebooking the clients you see Access to an established client base and a brand with a reputation, an audience, and a waitlist Additional compensated revenue streams through The Practice, The Society, workshops, retreats, and paid content Training on our formats and our breathwork method, and a team that collaborates on client care
