Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques and thorough understanding of human physiology will ensure each client receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on clients' health and happiness while working in a vibrant, supportive environment. Earn $30 plus tips per service hour. $6,000 longevity bonus after 1 year of continuous employment with us. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans. Educate clients on self-care practices and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with medical terminology standards and privacy regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session. Experience Proven experience as a licensed massage therapist with a strong background in massage therapy techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage modalities. Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Prior experience working in med spas or occupational health settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on building trust and delivering personalized care.
