Massage Therapist | High-End Spa | Established Clientele + Health Benefits | KC Northland (Platte City) The KC Spa is seeking a professional, dependable, and client-focused Licensed Massage Therapist to join our established and growing team in Platte City. Located in a beautifully restored 1870s Victorian building, The KC Spa has served the Kansas City Northland for eight years. We have an established clientele, strong community presence, and consistent demand for massage therapy. This is an excellent opportunity for a massage therapist looking for a long-term position with an established spa, a consistent weekly schedule, and the opportunity to build a strong and reliable book of clients. Compensation This is a commission-based W-2 position. Massage Therapists earn 45% commission on services + 100% of tips + 10% retail commission. The hourly range shown by Indeed represents estimated earning potential based on booked services and does not represent a guaranteed hourly wage. Massage therapists also receive 10% commission on eligible retail product sales. Paid hourly compensation is provided for approved training, meetings, and designated non-service hours. 9:00 AM-5:30

PM Tuesday:

9:00 AM-5:30

PM Friday:

9:00 AM-5:30

PM Saturday:

Qualifications Active Missouri Massage Therapy License 1+ year of professional massage experience preferred Deep tissue massage proficiency required Strong Swedish/relaxation massage skills Prenatal massage experience preferred Experience with cupping, hot stones, or other specialty modalities is a plus Excellent communication and customer-service skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable building client relationships and encouraging appropriate rebooking Ability to maintain a clean, organized treatment space and follow spa protocols Commitment to providing a consistently elevated client experience The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys massage therapy and wants to develop lasting relationships with clients rather than simply fill open hours.
