Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and CPR protocols Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment plans, and foster a comfortable experience Stay current with industry best practices and expand your skills in areas such as physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, pain management experience, and med spa procedures Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to assess patient needs accurately Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management techniques Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client appointments efficiently Embark on a rewarding career path where your skills directly contribute to improving lives.
