Job Summary Catalyst Athletic Rehab and Performance is an established cash-based physical therapy clinic that focuses on treatment of athletes and active individuals in the Lake Norman area north of Charlotte, NC. We currently provide high-level physical therapy, as well as personal and performance training. We are looking to grow and expand our services in order to help our clients further by offering massage therapy as well. We are seeking a passionate and energetic massage therapist to join our dynamic wellness team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, improved performance, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. The massage therapist will work alongside our physical therapists and trainers to help provide even greater care to help support our clients' health and wellness goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for licensed professionals who are looking for an opportunity to start to branch out and establish their own identity. The ideal candidate will bring along some of their own business and be able to market themselves, while also treating current and future Catalyst clients. Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other massage modalities to meet individual client needs Collaborate with physical therapists and personal trainers to provide comprehensive treatment for athletes and active individuals Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Maintain detailed treatment records while ensuring client confidentiality and compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, answer questions, and tailor sessions accordingly Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality Uphold the highest standards of patient service, hygiene, and safety during every session Requirements Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with state or local regulations Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans Great collaborative and communicative skills to work alongside physical therapists and personal trainers Familiarity with pain management strategies and occupational health principles CPR certification is required to ensure client safety at all times Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as dictated by client need Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is preferred but not mandatory Join us to help clients feel their best through expert touch and compassionate care! $60.00 - $72.00 per hour
