Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise in various massage techniques, combined with your commitment to patient care and communication, will help create a calming environment where clients feel valued and cared for. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, goals, and medical history Educate clients on treatment plans, post-massage care, and self-care strategies to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and OSHA standards Communicate effectively with clients to address questions or concerns and ensure a positive experience Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills and certifications Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical massage Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to massage therapy practices Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and occupational health issues CPR certification is required for safety compliance Prior experience working in med spas or wellness centers is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for continued learning is essential Join us in delivering outstanding therapeutic care that transforms lives!
