Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns and develop effective treatment plans Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and pain management strategies Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, client progress, and medical history using appropriate medical terminology Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session by adhering to proper hygiene and safety protocols including CPR certification requirements Communicate clearly with clients to understand their goals, address questions, and provide exceptional customer service Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy principles Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and explain treatment options effectively Strong understanding of pain management techniques and occupational health practices Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client sessions in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and healthcare settings CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment for safety compliance Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
