Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions based on client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans. Maintain clear communication with clients about their treatment goals, progress, and any relevant health information using medical terminology when appropriate. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment and practicing proper sanitation protocols. Stay informed about physiology, anatomy, pain management strategies, and current massage therapy practices to enhance treatment effectiveness. Document each session accurately in compliance with licensing requirements and client confidentiality standards. Promote excellent customer service by building trusting relationships and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with local regulations. Proven experience and preferable established clientele. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pain management principles, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required for safety compliance. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
