Job Description
Job Summary:
Empire Physical Medicine is seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team for Tuesdays 3-7, Wednesdays 3-7 and Saturdays 10-3 for 53 minutes sessions. The ideal candidate will provide professional and engaging wellness therapies to our clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.Responsibilities:
- Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques
- Customize massage sessions based on individual client needs and preferences
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Massage Therapist license in New Jersey
- Malpractice insurance
- Have an NPI (National Provider Identifier) #, we can assist with obtaining.
- Proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities
- Strong knowledge of acute pain management and pain relief techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
