Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and become a vital part of promoting wellness, relaxation, and healing for our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapies that enhance physical comfort, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through expert touch, compassionate care, and professional guidance. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where your skills can flourish and make a meaningful impact. Starting schedule is for Sunday and Tuesdays 9-6. Could be more days if desired. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly Educate clients on self-care practices, pain management strategies, and post-treatment protocols to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with privacy regulations Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and foster a relaxing experience Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy Proven experience in providing various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and deliver effective treatments Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and pain management practices CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire Prior experience working in occupational health or med spa environments is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client sessions in a fast-paced setting
