Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology and anatomy knowledge. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations for pain management and relaxation. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, client progress, and medical history in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety standards, including CPR certification requirements. Promote excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews. Stay current with industry trends and techniques to continually enhance your skills and provide the highest quality care. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Excellent patient assessment skills to identify specific pain points and develop effective treatment strategies. Exceptional client communication skills to build trust and ensure client comfort throughout each session. Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with occupational health principles and pain management techniques. Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist along with CPR certification; additional certifications in sports or medical massage are a plus.
