Educate clients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and proper self-care practices to support ongoing health goals. Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, client progress, and physiological responses to ensure effective ongoing care. Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans and address any questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Stay current with the latest developments in sports medicine, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and occupational health practices to enhance therapy effectiveness. Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and CPR certification requirements for safety and professionalism. Requirements Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited program with active licensure or registration as required by local regulations. Proven experience in sports massage therapy, including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health principles relevant to sports medicine. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on client communication and customer service excellence. Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs. CPR certification or equivalent first aid training is required for safety compliance. Prior experience in med spa environments or occupational health settings is a plus but not mandatory.
