Overview Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bring wellness, relaxation, and pain relief to our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver tailored massage treatments that promote healing, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health goals through personalized therapy sessions in a welcoming and professional environment. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current issues, and treatment goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies to manage pain and improve mobility. Maintain detailed treatment records, including session notes, client progress, and treatment plans. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including CPR certification requirements. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health. Proven experience in patient assessment and developing customized treatment plans. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport. Expertise in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Ability to identify pain points and apply appropriate techniques for effective pain management. Knowledge of occupational health practices relevant to workplace injury prevention and recovery. CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is required. Prior experience in med spa settings or similar environments is a plus. $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
