QUALIFICATIONS
Synergy is a multi-disciplinary clinic offering nutrition therapies, diabetes education, and clinical massage. Therapists provide clinical treatment using varied deep tissue and treatment modalities. Comfort treating injuries as well as people in all body sizes are a must. Training in trauma informed care is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate. DO NO LAUNDRY.
Yep--you read that right. No laundry. Shift hours are Saturdays 9-5:30, and Mondays 11am-7pm. Occasional additional days/hours available for vacation and sick coverage and overflow. Therapists choose how many massages they can comfortably provide in a day; most therapists are providing 4-6 hours of bodywork per shift. The perfect candidate is a hard worker, punctual, friendly, professional, dependable, and empathetic. We work hard, support each other, and have fun! Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills and clean, professional appearance. We are fiercely dedicated to our employees and look for employees who feel the same; we ask for a minimum of a 1 year employment agreement so only those looking for longer term arrangements should apply. Candidate must be active Licensed Massage Therapist by the State of Oregon.
COMPENSATION
This is a W2 employee position. We offer competitive pay (base pay plus commission) and gratuities are great. $500 sign-on bonus for therapists who are already credentialed with each of the following insurance companies: BCBS, MODA, PacificSource, Cigna, and Providence. All staff earn time off (both paid and unpaid) and retirement package. All staff receive in-house CEU opportunities; those who are qualified and interested will also have opportunity to teach CEU classes, with support from our team. Full time staff (24 hours or more worked per week) receive a full health benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and alternative care coverage.
