Job Description

Looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. We are looking for someone who loves people and is passionate about what Chiropractic in conjunction with Massage can provide to our patients. We strive to create an environment that is welcoming, where our patients and staff to feel like they are part of a family. Must be an LMT in the State of Oregon, we would prefer one year of experience (not required), will also be required to write chart/SOAP notes on each visit (can be taught if needed). Clinic days are Monday and Wednesdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 to 11:00 am. There are approximately 10 to 15 hours of massage time available to work per week. Average day would be 4 to 5 hands on massage hours plus note time. The room is also available to rent on non-clinic days for personal clients, if so desired.
Duties:
  • Perform massage therapy techniques to promote healing of specific conditions, and improve overall well-being
  • Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans based on their specific conditions and goals
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to target specific areas of concern
  • Apply acute pain management techniques to alleviate discomfort and promote healing
  • Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment throughout the session
  • Perform deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatments, and progress
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to assess patients' conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Proficiency in acute pain management techniques
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions
  • Excellent patient care, with the ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment
  • Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced massage techniques
  • Understanding of pain management strategies for chronic conditions
  • Ability to perform physical examinations and evaluate patients' overall health status
  • Knowledge of occupational health principles and practices
  • Massage paid at $40 to $43 hour based on experience (employee not independent contractor)
  • Administrative/standby time paid at $18 per hour
  • Complimentary Chiropractic treatments, Massage with one of our Bend therapists
  • Vacation/Sick time after one year
  • SIMPLE plan with 3% matching employer contribution after one year
  • $50 month for gym membership/health expenses after 90 days
  • All massage supplies provided
  • We are open to discussing payment for travel if you live elsewhere in Central Oregon.
