Duties Provide a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Educate clients on massage benefits, post-treatment care, and self-care practices to enhance results Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment plans Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation protocols and safety standards such as CPR certification Communicate effectively with clients to build trust, address questions, and adjust treatments as needed Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification and compliance with local regulations Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and pain management techniques Prior experience working with clients in occupational health or medical settings preferred Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and recommend appropriate therapies Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal conditions and injury recovery is advantageous CPR certification required; additional certifications in specialized massage techniques or occupational health are a plus Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing well-being through expert massage therapy.
