Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments by evaluating physiology, anatomy, and pain points to develop tailored treatment plans. Communicate clearly with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide post-session care recommendations. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols; maintain certification in CPR and other relevant safety procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes. Promote excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages client loyalty and positive feedback. Qualifications Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program; current licensure or registration as required by local regulations. Proven 3 years of experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health practices related to therapeutic massage. Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively with diverse clients. Prior experience working in a med spa or healthcare setting is preferred; familiarity with client communication and customer service excellence is essential. Certification in CPR and adherence to safety standards are required; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with industry best practices.
