Job Description
Job Description We are looking for a subcontractor massage therapist that provides professional bodywork under a service agreement. They will maintain autonomy over their schedule and techniques, use their own professional liability insurance, and handle their own taxes. Position Summary Provide high-quality, customized therapeutic massage sessions to clients on a contract basis. Maintain independent professional standards, manage personal tax obligations, and deliver exceptional client care within our facility space. Key Responsibilities Assess client needs, medical history, and physical condition to recommend and execute proper massage techniques. Perform various modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports) safely and effectively. Maintain clean, sanitized, and safe working spaces before and after each appointment. Manage personal appointment scheduling and client communication based on agreed facility availability. Uphold strict standards of client confidentiality and professional boundaries. Communicate with doctor regarding the needs of shared patients/clients. Requirements & Qualifications Valid state massage therapy license/certification. Current professional liability insurance (malpractice insurance). Proven knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, and contraindications for massage. Reliable, punctual, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
