Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and therapies, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assessing client needs, and delivering tailored treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. A commitment to customer service and patient satisfaction is essential in this role. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals. Administer various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage, to address specific concerns. Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and feedback. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a med spa setting to provide comprehensive care. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist. Proficiency in various massage techniques, with an emphasis on trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pain management, and patient assessment skills. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a med spa setting. Strong communication skills to interact with clients professionally and empathetically. Previous experience in a clinical or med spa environment is preferred but not required.
