Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our extremely busy office. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. We are specifically looking for Therapists who specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Relaxation, Pre-Natal, and Lymphatic Drainage. This position will be a 1099-K position with weekly pay and you keep 100% of your tips. We are looking to hire Monday-Saturday. The hours of operation are 10am-7pm Monday-Friday. Saturday is 10am-4pm. Responsibilities Provide a variety of massage techniques including Deep Tissue, Swedish Relaxation, Prenatal Massage, and Lymphatic Drainage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and contraindications. All clients submit medical & health background intake forms, along with a Preference Sheet, and Cancellation Policy form prior to their appointment. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pain management, stress relief, or injury recovery. We also have an array of retail items available for sale perfect for client's to continue self-care at home. Maintain detailed SOAP notes of client treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with privacy regulations. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment by adhering to sanitation standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals and provide clear explanations of therapy techniques and expected results Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care, such as Chiropractors, OBGYNs, etc. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Keeping up to date on CEU training in accordance with state licensing regulations. Proven experience in providing diverse massage modalities such as Deep Tissue, Swedish, and Prenatal massage. Deep Tissue is our priority, but we are open to other modalities such as Myofascial Release, Prenatal/Postnatal, and Lymphatic Drainage. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. We do NOT diagnose, but we try and express to our clients what we are feeling. Experience in patient assessment and pain management strategies within a clinical or spa setting. Familiarity with client communication best practices to ensure personalized care and high customer satisfaction. We are customer service-oriented and strive to always give 100%. Prior experience working in a massage office, chiropractor's office, or spa is preferred, but not mandatory. New Therapists recently graduated are welcome to apply.
