Chiropractic + Wellness is looking to hire for a Licensed Massage Therapist. We believe the right fit will possess both above average prenatal massage skills and more importantly, be a perfect culture fit for our office. Not being bothered by the casual feel of our office and some noise (kids playing, siblings chasing each other, a fussy baby, etc.) We take pride in our office being a safe place and a community for our patients and we want this role to be filled by someone who undestands this through and through.
Duties:
  • Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.
  • Provide pain management through various massage techniques, including trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas of concern and provide effective treatment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and occupational health.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service, ensuring comfort, privacy, and a positive therapeutic environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Skills:
  • Proficient in patient assessment techniques to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Strong knowledge of pain management strategies and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Expertise in trigger point therapy to alleviate muscle tension and pain.
  • In-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology to target specific areas for treatment.
  • Ability to conduct physical examinations to identify any contraindications or precautions for massage therapy.
  • Familiarity with occupational health practices and the ability to incorporate them into treatment plans.
  • Excellent patient service skills, including effective communication, active listening, and empathy.
  • Proficient in deep tissue massage techniques to address chronic muscle tension and pain.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physiology to understand the body's response to massage therapy.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy.
