This role leads by example, ensuring treatment excellence, luxury service standards, and operational consistency while mentoring fellow therapists and supporting spa leadership in daily operations. Greet guests warmly, escort them to and from treatment rooms, and provide attentive care before, during, and after treatments while attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit. Prepare treatment rooms according to guest preferences and client specifications while adhering to wellbeing and property service standards. Perform massage and body treatments tailored to individual guest needs. Ensure guest comfort, privacy, and safety at all times. Maintain professional ethics while providing personalized, consistent, and high-quality service so each guest feels their needs are met. Set up, clean, sanitize, and restock treatment rooms between services, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained and rooms remain immaculate at all times. Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all wellbeing public areas, including relaxation lounges, hallways, reception-adjacent spaces, locker rooms, showers, and restrooms. Monitor wellbeing common areas throughout the day, replenish towels, water, amenities, and guest supplies, and promptly address or report cleanliness, maintenance, or safety concerns. Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards in compliance with applicable regulations and the spa's policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of treatments and guest preferences as required. Communicate any guest concerns, incidents, complaints, misconduct, or staff-related occurrences to leadership promptly. Actively promote and educate guests on wellbeing services, treatments, sessions, retail products, programs, promotions, and available discounts, recommending appropriate treatments when suitable. Follow all wellbeing operational policies, procedures, treatment protocols, and brand standards. Regularly attend, participate in, and support spa training and staff meetings. Serve as the senior therapist and daily resource for the treatment team. Lead by example through exceptional professionalism, treatment quality, and guest service. Mentor newly hired therapists during onboarding and training, providing guidance on treatment protocols, draping techniques, service timing, and guest communication. Assist Wellbeing Leadership with coaching therapists, identifying training opportunities, and ensuring consistent treatment standards, technical skills, and guest satisfaction. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a positive work environment. Qualifications Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist or Esthetician Valid Massage Therapist and/or Esthetics State License required Experience in a luxury spa or hotel wellbeing environment preferred Demonstrated leadership and prior lead/senior therapist experience preferred.
