Licensed Massage Therapist - 1099 Independent Contractor Thana Bodyworks | Dallas and Plano, Texas About Thana Bodyworks Thana Bodyworks is a locally owned massage and wellness business that has proudly served the Dallas community for three years. As our business grows, we are expanding from a neighborhood massage spa into a mobile wellness service providing compassionate massage care to older adults in senior living communities throughout Dallas and Plano. Our licensed massage therapists provide safe, professional, and personalized services designed to support comfort, relaxation, mobility, and overall well-being. Position Overview Thana Bodyworks is seeking professional, dependable, and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapists to join our growing team as 1099 independent contractors. Therapists may accept assignments based on their availability. Opportunities are available at our Dallas spa and at participating senior living communities in the Dallas and Plano areas. Both part-time and full-time availability will be considered.

Locations Main location:

Thana Bodyworks, Dallas, TX 75231 Additional assignments: Plano and surrounding areas Some local travel may be required for senior-community appointments Responsibilities Provide professional massage services based on each client's comfort and wellness needs Deliver compassionate and respectful care to older adults Maintain appropriate client boundaries, sanitation, and professional standards Communicate clearly with clients, families, community staff, and the Thana Bodyworks team Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled appointments Complete required client intake and service documentation Follow all applicable TDLR regulations and safety protocols Preferred Skills We are especially interested in therapists with experience in: Thai massage Geriatric or senior massage Deep-tissue and therapeutic massage Assisted stretching and mobility techniques Relaxation and pain-management techniques Qualifications Must hold a current Texas Massage Therapist License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Thai massage experience is strongly preferred Experience working with seniors or geriatric clients is strongly preferred Professional, dependable, punctual, and compassionate Strong communication and customer-service skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable traveling to assignments in Dallas and/or Plano Reliable transportation is required for mobile assignments Employment Type 1099 independent contractor Flexible scheduling Part-time and full-time availability considered Dallas and Plano opportunities available Application and Interview Process Qualified candidates will be contacted by text message or email to schedule an in-person interview at: Thana Bodyworks 9330 Lookout Point, Suite 162 Dallas, TX 75231 During the interview, candidates will be asked to: Present the original copy of their current Texas Massage Therapist license or certificate issued by TDLR Complete a 15-minute hands-on skills demonstration at our location All equipment needed for the skills demonstration will be provided.
