More Than Massage. Help People Find Peace, Healing, and Hope. Embrace New Life Counseling & Wellness is a Christian private-pay behavioral health practice serving children, teens, adults, couples, and families across Northeast Texas. As we offer whole-person approach to care, we are seeking a compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist who believes healing involves the body as well as the mind. This is not a traditional spa position. It is an opportunity to become part of an interdisciplinary mental health team committed to helping individuals recover from the effects of stress, trauma, anxiety, grief, chronic pain, and life's overwhelming challenges. Our Vision At Embrace New Life, we recognize that emotional distress is often carried within the body. While massage therapy is not psychotherapy, therapeutic touch can play an important role in supporting relaxation, reducing stress, calming the nervous system, improving body awareness, and complementing evidence-based mental health treatment. We are developing the Embrace Therapeutic Wellness Protocol™ , a training program unique to our practice that combines trauma-informed massage principles, nervous system regulation, collaborative care, and compassionate Christian values. Every therapist joining our team will receive training in our clinical model and contribute to refining this innovative service. Who You'll Help You'll provide therapeutic massage for clients across the lifespan, including: Children & Adolescents (with parent/guardian consent and appropriate clinical guidelines) Adults Older adults Many of our clients seek support related to: Anxiety Chronic stress Trauma recovery PTSD Depression Burnout Grief and loss Chronic pain Headaches and TMJ discomfort Fibromyalgia Sensory regulation Autism ADHD Caregiver fatigue Medical illness First responder stress Your Responsibilities Provide individualized 60-minute therapeutic massage sessions. Support nervous system regulation and relaxation through evidence-informed massage techniques. Collaborate professionally with psychologists, counselors, and other healthcare providers while practicing fully within the massage therapy scope of practice. Maintain accurate documentation. Participate in training and ongoing development of the Embrace Therapeutic Wellness Protocol™ . Help cultivate a warm, peaceful, and healing environment for every client. We're Looking For Someone Who... Holds an active Texas Massage Therapist license. Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Values professionalism, compassion, and lifelong learning. Is comfortable working within a Christian, faith-friendly practice. Enjoys collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Desires meaningful work that changes lives. Experience with any of the following is appreciated but not required: Swedish Massage Therapeutic Massage Myofascial Release Craniosacral Therapy Lymphatic Drainage Prenatal Massage Pediatric Massage Oncology Massage Trauma-informed bodywork Nervous system regulation techniques Schedule Part-Time, Contract Flexible scheduling based on your availability.
