Licensed Massage Therapist Sacred Springs Therapies, LLC is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to provide one-on-one therapy services to clients with developmental disabilities in Austin and surrounding areas. This role offers independence with support and flexible scheduling. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Recreation Therapist to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will develop, implement, and evaluate therapeutic recreation programs tailored to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of diverse patient populations. Your expertise will foster engaging activities that promote recovery, improve quality of life, and support holistic care in community-based programs. Your Role Provide services in-home, facility-based, and aquatic therapy settings (optional) Document patient progress and communicate with care teams Manage your own schedule as a 1099 contractor Qualifications Must be board certified (LMT licensure through TDLR) Must have professional malpractice/liability insurance or be willing to obtain insurance Must have current CPR through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or be willing to obtain CPR certification Valid Texas Driver's License

Trainings (support available) Reliable Transportation Basic Water Rescue or Lifeguard Cert (for Aquatic Therapy hours) This opportunity has part-time availability but has the potential to grow and get assigned more clients. Our clients have the potential to be long-term clients, which can provide stable income for you as the therapist. Skills Strong knowledge of patient assessment procedures, documentation and evaluation standards, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to communicate effectively with the team, clients and/or their parents/guardians, and collaborate seamlessly. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills Locations Immediate need in Austin, TX, and South of Austin near the I35 corridor.

Responsibilities:
Plan and implement massage therapy treatment modalities to provide passive and active stretching, decrease muscle tension, improve ROM, and other goals according to the client's level of functioning and areas needing improvement. Document each client's progress after each therapy session using our standard simple progress note format and submit to the agency on a weekly basis. Compose 2-page quarterly reports every quarter (4x per year) as a means of documenting progress or lack of progress from massage therapy sessions over the past 3 months. You will also have the opportunity to complete initial evaluations for new clients, with separate compensation provided for each evaluation. Must maintain valid licensure and certificates as required by company policy and state regulations. Must remain within ethical and professional guidelines.
