A Massage Therapist uses massage to relieve tension, pain, and other ailments in patients, and promote general well-being. May specialize in a certain type of massage, such as deep-tissue or sports massage. May be self-employed or work in a private practice, spa, fitness center, or medical or chiropractic care facility.
$60-$70 per completed massage hour, based on experience and practical demonstration.

POSITION SUMMARY
An established luxury med spa and wellness practice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Texas Licensed Massage Therapist with lymphatic drainage experience. This Level 3 position is for an advanced therapist who delivers consistently exceptional, customized treatments with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has excellent hands-on technique, strong therapeutic knowledge, impeccable hygiene, dependable attendance, and a proven ability to earn repeat bookings. This is not an entry-level position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform customized therapeutic, deep-tissue, Swedish, relaxation, prenatal, and lymphatic drainage treatments within your training and scope Assess each client's concerns, pressure preferences, and treatment goals Adapt techniques to the individual instead of providing the same routine for every client Deliver a polished, professional experience that encourages client retention Recommend appropriate rebooking, packages, and complementary services Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation Follow strict handwashing, sanitation, draping, personal-hygiene, and room-preparation standards Keep treatment rooms clean, stocked, and ready Work dependably and collaboratively with the spa team
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current Texas Massage Therapist license Professional training and hands-on experience in lymphatic drainage At least three years of professional massage experience; five or more years preferred Advanced therapeutic and deep-tissue massage skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, contraindications, and muscular pain patterns Excellent client communication and professional boundaries Dependable attendance and punctuality Demonstrated ability to build client loyalty and repeat bookings Willingness to complete a practical massage demonstration
