Overview Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor Massage Therapist, where your expertise will help clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. This role offers the flexibility to set your own schedule while delivering exceptional massage therapy services tailored to individual needs. As a vital part of our wellness community, you'll utilize your skills to promote healing, reduce stress, and improve mobility for diverse clients seeking holistic health solutions. Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massage. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand client concerns, medical history, and specific treatment goals. Apply physiology and anatomy knowledge to develop personalized treatment plans that address pain management and enhance overall well-being. Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, gather feedback, and ensure comfort throughout each session. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments performed, client progress, and any relevant medical terminology for record-keeping purposes. Uphold the highest standards of patient service and customer care by creating a welcoming environment and fostering positive client relationships. Stay informed about industry best practices and certifications such as CPR to ensure safe and effective therapy delivery. Experience Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health modalities. Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy with the ability to assess patient needs accurately. Prior experience in pain management or injury rehabilitation is highly desirable. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices enhances treatment effectiveness. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required or must be obtained prior to employment. Demonstrated ability to work independently as an contractor while maintaining professionalism and adherence to health and safety standards. Pay:
$70.27 - $117.00 per hour
