Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Licensed Massage Therapist who has built a loyal clientele and is committed to delivering exceptional therapeutic care. The ideal candidate is confident in developing individualized treatment plans and has a strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, muscle function, and injury recovery.
You should possess:
An established, active client base that will complement our growing practice. Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, musculoskeletal conditions, and common injuries. Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, Myofascial Release, and other therapeutic modalities. The ability to assess movement patterns, identify areas of dysfunction, and tailor treatments based on each client's goals and physical needs. Excellent communication skills with a passion for educating clients on recovery, injury prevention, and long-term wellness. A warm, professional demeanor and a commitment to creating an exceptional client experience. A desire to continue learning, growing, and collaborating with other wellness professionals in a multidisciplinary setting. Responsibilities Provide customized massage therapy treatments based on each client's individual goals, concerns, and health history. Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage, and other therapeutic modalities. Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans while ensuring safety and comfort throughout each session. Educate clients on treatment recommendations, self-care, stretching, recovery, and long-term wellness strategies. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential treatment documentation. Collaborate with providers and other wellness professionals to create an exceptional client experience. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and professionalism within treatment rooms and common areas. Stay current on continuing education, industry trends, and best practices to continually expand your knowledge and skill set. Qualifications Current Virginia Massage Therapy License in good standing. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and therapeutic massage techniques. Experience performing a variety of massage modalities including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, and Prenatal Massage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional client care. Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment. Experience in a wellness clinic, chiropractic office, physical therapy practice, or medical spa is preferred but not required. What We Offer Established practice with a loyal and growing client base.
