Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop tailored treatment plans. Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective therapy sessions. Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic policies. Provide excellent patient service by creating a calming atmosphere, listening actively, and addressing client questions or concerns professionally. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and support holistic health approaches. Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Expertise in patient assessment techniques to identify specific areas of tension or discomfort. Proficiency in advanced massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Knowledge of pain management principles and techniques for effective relief. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Experience working in a med spa or similar environment is preferred, with familiarity in occupational health practices. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor that fosters client loyalty and satisfaction.
