Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans, exceptional patient service, and effective communication. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Customize massage sessions based on client preferences and physiological considerations, ensuring optimal results. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client feedback, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations. Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment recommendations, and injury prevention strategies. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and maintaining equipment. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification. Skills Exceptional patient service skills with a focus on active listening and empathetic communication. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Proven experience with various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Ability to assess client needs accurately through patient assessment techniques and adapt treatments accordingly. Excellent client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build trust. Knowledge of pain management strategies and occupational health considerations for diverse populations. Certification as a Licensed Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations; CPR certification is required. Pay:
$48.00 - $53.00 per hour
