Licensed Massage Therapist Synergy Healthcare | Spokane Valley, WA Synergy Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our collaborative outpatient rehabilitation team. For more than 20 years, Synergy Healthcare, a therapist owned practice has provided individualized, hands-on care to patients experiencing pain, injury, mobility limitations, and complex health concerns. This is an excellent opportunity for a massage therapist who wants to work in a healthcare-focused environment rather than a traditional spa setting. You will work alongside, and be mentored by experienced Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, recover from injuries, manage stress, and return to the activities they enjoy, Position Overview As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Synergy Healthcare, you will provide customized therapeutic massage treatments designed to promote healing, reduce pain and tension, improve movement, and enhance overall well-being. You will use your knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage techniques to assess each patient's needs and provide thoughtful, compassionate care. Your skills will support patients with orthopedic conditions, chronic pain, work-related injuries, sports injuries, stress-related tension, and other musculoskeletal concerns. Responsibilities Provide individualized therapeutic massage treatments based on each patient's needs, goals, and treatment plan. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, myofascial techniques, and other appropriate modalities. Determine patient needs, monitor progress, and modify treatments based on patient response and comfort. Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other providers to support comprehensive patient care. Help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, decrease muscle tension, and recover from injury or physical strain. Maintain accurate documentation while following clinic policies, privacy standards, and sanitation protocols. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment. Participate in continuing education (several manual techniques taught in house) , mentorship, and team collaboration to expand clinical skills and improve patient outcomes. Qualifications Current Washington State Massage Therapist license and CPR certification. Experience in a physical therapy clinic, rehabilitation setting, medical office, or other healthcare environment is preferred but not required. Additional knowledge in sports massage, medical massage, myofascial techniques, or other specialized modalities are a plus. Please see our website for further details on services we provide.
