Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist (Contractor) to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy sessions that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for a diverse client base. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through tailored massage techniques and professional care. This position offers flexibility, allowing you to set your own schedule while making a meaningful impact on clients' lives. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques which may include and are not limited to Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, and lymphatic massage to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide personalized recommendations. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and professional standards. Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage anddeep tissue massage Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent patient communication skills to build trust and ensure client comfort throughout sessions. Ability to interpret medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state regulations. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor that fosters client loyalty. Knowledge of pain management techniques and experience working with clients experiencing chronic or acute pain issues.
