Our waterfront salon and spa offers a full range of services in a luxurious, lakeside environment—all delivered by professionally trained health and wellness professionals. Whether your client is a local resident booking a spa day or a resort guest looking for a quick treatment, we offer something for everyone. From massages and facials, group fitness classes and personal training, we invite our guests to come for an hour or stay for the day. If they're looking for rejuvenation and relaxation, this is the place. What We Accomplish Together The Edgewater spa offers the highest quality of customer service delivered to our guests both in and out of massage services. Our Massage Therapists perform various modalities - including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal and body mobilization techniques to relieve pain, improve circulation, relieve stress, increase relaxation, and aid in the general wellness of our clients. What We Have A steady flow of clientele and available work schedules (Take off pay) Commission/Gratuities on all treatments as well as retail including Spa giftshop & treatment related products. What You Have Expertise in Deep Tissue, Swedish, And Prenatal Massage. 600 hours in an approved school and required licenses in accordance with Wisconsin state law. The required licenses in accordance with Wisconsin state law. The ability to physically perform the duties required of a massage therapist. A caring, positive attitude with a genuine interest in helping clients. Excellent customer service skills with the desire to work in a team environment. A self-driven, entrepreneurial attitude towards achieving your goals. Working Conditions This position operates in a full-service spa and professional office environment. The role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines and standard spa equipment, such as care products, massage table linens, cleaning equipment and supplies. Hours of Operation Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 6:00pm. Flexible hours with weekend availability required. Full time and part time positions available. Physical Abilities The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
