Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to support medical professionals in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
• Administer medications under the direction of a physician
• Provide support in medical-surgical settings, clinics, and operating rooms
• Conduct patient service duties including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations
• Utilize X-Ray equipment as needed

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is a plus
• Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
• Ability to assist with medication administration
• Familiarity with medical coding practices
• Exposure to operating room (OR) procedures is advantageous
• Prior experience in clinic settings preferred
