Job Description

We are seeking a DEDICATED and detail -oriented Medical Office assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing support within a medical office environment, ensuring excellent patient care. Must be able to maintain a professional work ethic in a busy, stressful environment. •Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate efficient patient care. Assisting other staff members, >>you must be a team player<< Initiating and completing prior authorizations for medications and ordered procedures such as MRI, CT, etc. Phlebotomy experience preferred. Obtaining and recording vital signs. Giving injections, performing EKGs. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups and specialist referrals. Confirming patient insurance coverage and eligibility. Collecting co-payments, deductibles, and balances. Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional manner. Relaying accurate messages to the appropriate staff/physician. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

From $12.00 per hour
