High school diploma or equivalent. New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training Must have completed allMA Competencies Certification:
Must actively maintain MA certification. Caregivers must actively maintain their certification, or they will be transitioned to the Medical Assistant title. Caregivers can be hired as a Certified Medical Assistant if they are a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
One year of applicable patient care experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.Education:
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant programPhysical Requirements:
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
