Role Description This is a part-time (Tuesday - Thursday) on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant. 10 hour days, paid Federal Holidays, accrued sick and PTO time beginning after 6 months of employment. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative tasks including but not limited to taking vital signs, recording medical histories, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with medical procedures, updating medical records. The Certified Medical Assistant will also be responsible for providing excellent patient care and assisting with administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Medical Assisting and Medical Terminology Experience working in a Medical Office setting Exceptional Patient Care skills Proficiency in managing Medical Records Ability to multitask and work well under pressure with attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is required Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred
