Job Description

Adecco Healthcare & Life Science is working with our client to hire a Medical Assistant in Prescott, AZ . This is an in-person/on-site role .
Type:
Contract - possibility of extension
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay Rate:
$21 to $24/hour
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Take and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history, and update their records. Help providers with exams, minor procedures, injections, and other treatments. Collect and prepare lab samples, and follow safety and sterilization guidelines. Schedule patients, process referrals, authorizations, and prescriptions. Explain instructions to patients and support clinic staff as needed. Keep exam rooms, equipment, and supplies clean and organized; restock items. Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately for records and billing.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred 1+ year of experience in a clinic or medical office Knowledge of insurance, EMR, and scheduling software Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow safety and HIPAA guidelines Why Work for Adecco? Pay Details:
