In this vital role, you will provide hands-on support in primary care of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure patients receive compassionate service while assisting healthcare providers with essential clinical and administrative tasks. Duties Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient visits, ensuring a smooth flow of clinical procedures Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height and weight Do EKG, give injections Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and medical records Do referrals as needed Assist with medication administration under provider supervision and support medication reconciliation processes Conduct patient intake assessments, review medical histories, update insurance information, and facilitate smooth patient service experiences Support medical office management tasks including scheduling appointments, ordering labs, and maintaining organized medical documentation Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations by accurately documenting procedures and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive medical information Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within primary care.
