The Certified Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers while ensuring a positive patient experience. This role will involve patient rooming, clinical procedures, documentation, phone communication, and assisting clinicians in a fast-paced medical office environment.

PM Travel:

No regular travel required; occasional work at another location during the same shift may be possible Key Responsibilities Room and prepare patients according to established ACE standard work procedures. Obtain and document patient information and assist with maintaining accurate medical records. Answer and make patient phone calls and assist with routine patient inquiries. Complete paperwork, faxes, and electronic in-basket tasks. Assist clinicians with examinations, procedures, and patient care. Administer injections as directed and within appropriate scope of practice. Perform point-of-care testing (POCT) . Perform and assist with EKGs . Complete and maintain quality control (QC) logs and documentation. Support daily clinical and administrative workflow. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and organizational policies. Assist with other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous Medical Assistant experience . Medical Assistant certification. Current BLS certification . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Epic EMR . Experience working in a physician practice or outpatient clinic.
