    • Medical Assistant / Phlebotomist
    • will provide hands-on patient and laboratory support, with a primary focus on
    • phlebotomy, blood draws, specimen collection, processing, labeling, and preparation for shipment to contracted laboratories
    • . This position is ideal for a skilled and dependable healthcare professional who is comfortable performing
    • high-volume blood draws
    • while maintaining accuracy, patient safety, and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will support approximately
    • 1,300 patients/specimens per month
    • and help maintain efficient daily laboratory operations.
    • Key Responsibilities
    • + Perform
    • blood draws and venipuncture
    • accurately and safely.
    + Collect, process, label, and prepare patient specimens for pickup and shipment to contracted laboratories. + Verify patient identification and ensure specimens are correctly matched, labeled, handled, and documented. + Follow established specimen-handling, processing, packaging, and transportation requirements. + Provide compassionate, professional patient care throughout the laboratory process, including supporting patients who may be anxious about blood draws. + Work efficiently in a
    • high-volume environment
    • while maintaining accuracy and timely service. + Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, and work areas according to clinic and laboratory standards. + Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to help prevent interruptions to laboratory operations. + Provide staff coverage for breaks and assist with maintaining consistent laboratory workflow. + Follow all applicable
    • infection-control, safety, specimen-handling, and compliance requirements

    • Required Qualifications

    • + Strong hands-on experience performing

    • Pay Details:
    • $22.
