Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization in compliance with safety standards Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy (blood draws), medication administration, and basic life support procedures when needed Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling administrative tasks like ICD coding and medical documentation Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar medical office setting with proficiency in medical office management and administrative support Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, including electronic health records management and medical documentation standards Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred but not required Familiarity with phlebotomy techniques, medication administration protocols, ICD coding, and medical terminology Previvous experience in a Pulmonary Clinic Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and inpatient care practices across various specialties such as geriatrics or medical-surgical units Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding healthcare services.
