AkamCare Health in Corona, CA is looking for one medical assistant to join our 4 person strong team. We are located on 2815 S. Main St. Suite 200. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working. Responsibilities Take patient vitals and room for provider Organize exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Complete basic routine medical procedures Record accurate patient documentation through EMR System Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies Insurance Verification; working knowledge of PPO, HMO, Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation Assist Back Office Tasks as assigned Other responsibilities as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Certified Medical Assistant Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program. 1 Year or more of solid work experience working in a medical field; pain management experience preferred, but not required Familiarity working with medical equipment High attention to accuracy and detail with exceptional organizational skills Bilingual; preferred but not required
