Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, dependable and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in a clinical setting. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing exceptional patient service while supporting providers in delivering quality care. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Perform intake procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting patient medical histories. Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology. Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff to enhance patient service. Support clinic operations by performing administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, calling patients with pathology results, and managing medical supplies. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in surgery or dermatology environments. Proficiency in using EHR systems for documentation and patient management. Experience with prior authorizations and surgery scheduling is preferred. Knowledge of relevant medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
