This is a full-time position that includes both front-office and back-office responsibilities . The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office, communicates well with patients and staff, and is willing to assist wherever needed to keep the clinic running smoothly. Responsibilities Front Office Greet and check patients in and out. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient questions. Schedule and confirm appointments. Verify patient demographics and insurance information. Collect copays and patient payments when applicable. Assist with referrals, medical records, faxes, and incoming documents. Maintain accurate patient information in the EHR. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, insurance companies, and other medical offices. Back Office Room patients and obtain vital signs. Document patient history and reason for visit. Prepare examination and treatment rooms. Assist providers during examinations and procedures. Perform basic clinical duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice. Prepare patients for injections, procedures, and diagnostic testing. Assist with blood draws, specimen collection, and laboratory processing as applicable. Perform EKGs and other in-office testing as trained. Clean and disinfect exam rooms and medical equipment. Restock clinical supplies and monitor inventory. Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EHR. Qualifications Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Previous experience in a medical office preferred. Comfortable performing both front-office and back-office duties . Strong communication and customer-service skills. Professional, dependable, and organized. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable using computers and EHR/EMR systems. Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements. BLS/CPR certification preferred. Experience with orthopedics, occupational medicine, urgent care, or workers' compensation is a plus. Bilingual English/Chinese.
