Medical Assistant A Family Practice and Diabetes clinic is looking for a full-time Medical Assistant for its Modesto location. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm, with a lunch break from 1PM-2

PM Duties:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
• Collect and record patient data and medical history in the EMR
• Take patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare provider
• Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Patient care follow-up and Referrals Management
• Job duties as assigned and as delegated.

Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Bilingual English, Spanish preferred
