Job Description
A fast-growing primary care clinic is looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to join the team. The MA role is essential in delivering comprehensive, high-quality care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and manage patient inquiries Assist with coordination and processing of patient referrals and prior authorizations Assist our clinicians with patient care (rooming, patient intake, vital signs etc.) Perform clinical tasks (medication/vaccine administration, EKGs, ear lavage, etc.) Record and maintain the refrigerator and freezer temperature logs Coordinate the inventory, ordering and supply stock maintenance Requirements Valid Medical Assistant diploma / certificate Valid BLS (AHA) certification Critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision Strong computer skills Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills Must be comfortable managing diverse, changing work assignments Have strong problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and attention to details Maintain current license, registrations and/or certifications Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and organizational standards Report to work on time and as scheduled Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times Benefits 401 (k) match Kaiser Health insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Growth and advancement opportunities Schedule Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00
