Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team within a busy personal injury clinic. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support patient care, streamline clinical operations, and contribute to positive health outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical assisting, with specific experience in personal injury cases, and possess excellent communication skills. Please do not apply if you are a student or do not have Experience in Personal Injury Clinic Duties Assist with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting injury details accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to monitor patient health status Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during medical assessments and procedures, including X-ray and phlebotomy procedures Manage medical documentation with precision, including ICD coding for injury diagnosis and treatment records Support patient service by answering questions, providing instructions, and ensuring a comfortable experience during visits Administer medications and perform basic medication administration tasks under provider supervision Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for confidentiality and security of patient information Experience Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a personal injury or outpatient clinic setting Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding related to injury management Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and EMR/EHR management tools Familiarity with hospital medicine, urgent care, or emergency medicine environments, including Level I or Level II trauma center experience preferred Skills in phlebotomy, X-ray procedures, vital signs collection, and medication administration required Experience supporting inpatient settings such as ICU or PICU is advantageous but not mandatory Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; additional certifications such as Medical Assisting Certification are highly desirable Join our team to be part of a vibrant healthcare environment where your skills directly enhance patient recovery. $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
