You will perform routine Medical Assistant duties and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Handle all Medical Assistant Duties Able to drive a vehicle, competent and defensive driver Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff Assist Health care providers, prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic lab testing on premises, sterilizing medical instruments and equipment, administering medications and injections, medication refill as directed, perform EKG, Spirometry, Doppler, Vital signs, suture removal, dressing change, assist in wound care, drawing blood. daily schedule and routing, ​
Qualifications:
At least 2 years experience as a Medical Assistant Strong organizational skills and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance, OSHA compliance Clean driving history Able to use EMR, software
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, able to stoop, and stretch, manual and finger dexterity, able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs if needed to assist as directed by health care providers.
English/Bilingual preferred Special equipment skills:
Willing to be trained on equipment
